Computer Engineering Master's Program

Introduction and Objectives

The recent advances in the information technology not only increased the need for computer engineers but also made it essential that professionals from different disciplines are familiar with the technology beyond the level of a simple user. This means, advanced degree courses should answer the requirements of the industry and furnish the students with the most recent advances in the technology. Additionally, training graduates from different disciplines should serve to reduce the gap between the supply and demand in the qualified IT personnel.

Atılım University Computer Engineering Master's Program is designed with these criteria in mind for the graduates of Computer Engineering and other disciplines. The students who do not hold a Computer Engineering degree or who are not experienced in the fundamentals of the discipline are required to take deficiency courses in some of the areas of Computer Engineering

 

  • Program requirements :

For the Second cycle (Master’s Degree) program with thesis, a student is required to take a minimum of 7 courses with credit (at least 52.5 ECTS), a seminar (7.5 ECTS), a course entitled “Special Studies on Thesis Subject” (10 ECTS) and a thesis (50 ECTS). The student must have a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 with no failing grades and must prepare and defend a thesis.

 

For the Second cycle (Master’s Degree) program without thesis, a student is required to take a minimum of 10 courses with credit (at least 75 ECTS) and a graduation project (15 ECTS). The student must have a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 with no failing grades and must prepare and defend a graduation project.
